Explanation:
While convenient, eating outside can contribute to more carbon emissions (especially via car travel). Eating at fast food restaurants can have negative effects on the environment because of carbon emissions these chains (& other industries) produce, according to our textbook (p. 135).
Trying to buy organic food/food from farmers' markets whenever available and/or affordable. Resources used to grow organic food often use (for example) less chemical fertilizers that hurt our environment,
Limiting leftovers when preparing food!
Making sure that leftover food is not wasted and are finished within a few days!

Eating diverse foods that are healthy and make me happy!
Meal planning & investing in foods I enjoy!
Education:
Educating myself and family members on healthy diets, especially being mindful of our meat quality & consumption.
Being open and trying new foods, potentially incorporating new alternatives into my diet & family's diet!

Encouraging others & legislation to encourage health programs focusing on food accessibility & food alternatives
Addressing food accessibility in low-income communities!

Encouraging city legislature to make it difficult for fast food chains to open new stores in low-income areas.
