      - :pen: Rutherford figured out the atom's nucleus contained a nucleus in the middle with electrons surrounding it

      - :pen: Bohr discovered that electrons orbit the nucleus in shells at different energy levels- (if an electron is further away from nucleus it has a higher energy level, if it closer it has a lower energy level) - electrons can jump energy levels depending if they lose or gain electromagnetic radiation
