Concept
:pen: Online learning is an education that takes place over the Internet. It is a type of distance learning and is often referred to as “elearning”.
:pen: Distance learning is a field of education that focuses on teaching methods and technology with the aim of delivering teaching, often on an individual basis, to students who are not physically present in a traditional educational setting such as a classroom. It has been described as "a process to create and provide access to learning when the source of information and the learners are separated by time and distance, or both” (Honeyman & Miller, 1993, p. 68).
:pen: Online Learning encompasses a range of technologies such as the worldwide web, email, chat, new groups and texts, audio and video conferencing delivered over computer networks to impart education. It helps the learner to learn at their own pace, according to their own convenience.
