        Residential schools are making a negative effect on our children by sending them long distances to be abused and mistreated. Our children are in need of a good education in which residential schools are not providing them. First of all, These schools were stripping our children of their religion to force theirs on them because it is somehow more superior to ours? Secondly, Our children are no longer allowed to express our culture through their physical appearance or even believe in their religion. Now they are getting punished physically by what they consider mistakes or errors? These schools are destroying our culture one child at a time.

        These children must learn to behave properly in a professional environment. One of the ways to teach them to behave this way is to give them punishments. If we do not punish them, they will learn that it’s alright to misbehave. If we teach them that actions have consequences, then they will not misbehave. We are only doing what is best for the children and their learning.
- - - - This is out of our control as it wasn't us in particular who had done it. As a community we have come to the conclusion that it was wrong but not our fault. One of the men that had done this has been arrested.

- - - - It is valuable to notice that the christian faith is the most superior religion. Therefore our students must learn about and how to believe in the Christian faith. As long as the christian faith lives it should be the only religion tolerated as is it the most valuable. This is why we had chosen to teach the children the Christian faith.
    - - Our children shouldn't have to give up their culture and religion to take part in this new and ever evolving world. The children shouldn't be forced into a new religion simply because a new person decides so. There is no superior religion therefore our children should be able to independently decide in their beliefs and culture.
- - - - If these children were treated with respect and appreciation they would not want to escape. Those that attempted just wanted to escape from this cruel place. This school is evil and has made our very own children put their lives on the line just to get out of this so-called school.
    - - These students had disobeyed the rules and had tried to escape from the school. This was out of our control as we could not stop these children after the fact. We couldn't have stopped them as we didn't know before they had attempted.
