We can use the present continuous to talk about future arrangements.
An arrangement is something that is done to prepare or plan for something in the future.
An arrangement is also an agreement between two people or groups about how something happens or will happen.
Structure
Positive Form
Subject + verb TO BE + verb –ing + complement
Negative Form
Subject + verb TO BE+ not + verb –ing + complement
Interrogative
Verb TO BE + subject + verb –ing + complement +?
You are staying with Emily this week
It is important to include the verb TO BE after the subject and before the main verb.
She is not doing her homework after dinner
The negative form is after verb TO BE.
Are Camila and his boyfriend flying to Toronto next week?
Question word + verb TO BE + subject + verb –ing +?
What are you doing on Monday night?
In the examples, there are two different ways of structuring an interrogative sentence in the present continuous tense.
Use the future with will to talk about an event in the future that you have just decided to do, for predictions and for promises.
