Interim/Benchmark
Definition- comparison of how student are doing on set standers that are tested throughout the same school year
9 week district assessments- a test given every 9 week to check for student understand on certain standards
end of semester test: testing will be done at the end of each semester to check where students are on the standard taught in those semesters
Summative
Definition:an assessment that is given at the end of a unit that tells if the student understood the unit.
Project- student take what they have learned and apply it to creating something that is real-vent to the topic

Definition- an assessment that lets student show there knowledge in real life situations problems by showing their thought process

Diagnostic
Definitions: is a way for teachers to see what their students can and can't do to help guide their teaching and support the student learning
IXl- is a website that is used in LISD to help build gabs that are found in students. But all students must complete a diagnosis first to see where the gaps in learning are.

Pre-Test T test- all middles school students take it at the begging of the year to give the teacher a guide lien of where students are and helps the teacher track the progress of the student throughout the year

Definition- a way for teacher to see if student understood the lesson for that day and gives teacher feedback on how to change future lesson plans
