Psychology Today article named Pets Rock. Emphasises the health and emotional benefits of owning a pet.
YouTube video of a Dashound escaping an enclosure by climbing over the back of a bigger dog. This shows cooperation and planning. The dashounds brothers and sisters follow. From owning my dog I can vouch for many examples of intelligence.

I have recently been able to have my own pet dog. He's just over 1.5 years old. He really puts life into perspective.
