attachments: medial surface of fibula, interosseous membrane and dorsal base and body of 5th metatarsal
action: dorsiflexion and eversion
innervated by the deep fibular nerve
Extensor Hallucis Longus
attachments: medial surface of fibula and dorsal aspect of base of the great toe
extend IP joint big toe and dorsiflexion
innervated by the deep fibular nerve
Extensor Digitorum Longus
attachments: lateral condyle of the tibia and dorsal aspect of base of toes 2-5
actions: extension of toes 2-5, dorsiflexion
innervated by the deep fibular nerve
Tibialis Anterior
attachments: lateral condyle of the tibia and medial cuneiform, base of 1st metatarsal
action: dorsiflexion and inversion
innervated by the deep fibular nerve
Innervation

superficial peroneal nerve
originates from the common fibular nerve
sensory to the skin of the lower leg and dorsum of the foot
common peroneal nerve
originates from the sciatic nerve
saphenous nerve
originates from the femoral nerve
sensory to medial leg and foot
