Interim/Benchmark
Definition: An assessment to see how students compare to each other in different subjects in different locations
MAP testing: Students will be tested on different topics of things they may know but some other topics they may not be familiar with in
TEA Field Test: Makes sure that newly developed content is able to hit the marks that it needs to for success in students
Diagnostic
Definition: Assessment of what students already know about a certain topic and to determine their strengths and weaknesses

Student Survey: Seeing what students already know before a unit and then seeing what they are most confident as well
Performance
Definition: Performance assessment is not as much a formal assessment but is more seeing you give a student a certain task being able to see if they are able to accomplish the task
Make a Recording: creating a number talk and recording themselves over them solving the problem to explain understanding
Group Anchor Chart: Students create an anchor chart over a specific topic with proof of organization and understanding
Formative
Definition: Formative assessment is being able to tell what students need to know and work on so teachers can adjust either the instruction or adjust for later assessments for students success.
Number Talk: Students with whole group will explain their answer to a specific problem then explaining their strategy and why they got the answer that they did
Around the Room Task Cards: Students go around the room answering task cards with QR codes to check their answers if they are correct or not
Summative
Definition: This is the assessment to see how much the students have learned at the end of a specific unit.
Multiple Choice: Students take a multiple choice test over the topics that were discussed at the end of an unit
Regular Written Test: Students are tasked with just doing a written test with everything that was in the unit that they learned.
