Formative

Google Forms: This a way to gather information on what students already know about the topic while incorporating technology into the classroom. This can be taken at the beginning to collect background knowledge.
Anchor Chart: Students can create an anchor chart of what they already know what the content and what they want to learn about it. This can help the students show the teacher their background knowledge on a topic.
Performance
Definition: This type of assessment is a hands on way for students to demonstrate what they know. This is a way for students to illustrate authentic learning and has them more actively involved within their own learning.
Performance: Students will perform a reenactment to demonstrate their knowledge . This has the students being collaborative and creating a product using what they have learned.
Debate: Students can demonstrate what they have learned being participating in a debate. This is a different way for the teachers to know what the students have learned as well.
