STAAR Test: The STAAR test is given to students in grades 3-5 in all of the subjects (Science, Math, Reading, Social Studies). Teachers prepare the students throughout the year for this test by discussing types of questions that will be asked, how things are phrased, how students should answer certain questions, etc. These scores give the next grade level teachers information on their upcoming students and what they need to do to prepare for the next class of students.
