Travelling globally (i.e. working for British Airways)
Working within the UK or EU (performing short-haul flights)
Flight instructors may work on the ground, training new pilots with the use of technology / simulations
Pilots involved in military action may be serving on the front lines in war zones, or operating on aircraft carriers, or performing training drills within the UK / at an air force base
Engineers and Manufacturers (i.e. working for Boeing / Airbus to help produce new aircraft.
What roles might they have?
Ensuring that aircraft and continued to be produced safely / maintaining safety regulations
Working in schemes to ensure the rights of passengers (i.e. allowing passengers to get their money back if an airline has a problem)
Working to ensure the future of aviation is sustainable
Designing future aircraft, testing new models with the use of computer simulations
Building new aircraft
Emergency services and security workers, helping to ensure aviation is safe

Emergency services such as fire brigades, working at airports such as at Heathrow, ready to be deployed at any notice to respond to any emergency
Police and security operating within airport terminal's, helping to ensure that illegal activities / substances are not transported
Those working in airport security, working inside the airport, helping to ensure that no illegal / dangerous things are transported on an aircraft, that could possible put others at risk
