REASONS FOR CHOOSING

Health: it lowers saturated fat and is higher in dietary fibre which reduces the risk of CHD, obesity and bowel disorders
Sensory Factory: don't like the smell, appearance, taste or texture of meat and fish
Ethics: feel it is wrong to kill or harm animals, or they may disagree with intensive animal rearing eg: caged hens

Sustainability: more packaging for meat and fish, animal rearing uses more food and water, and animal waste does more harm to the environment
