        Graham Greene = English novelist famour for his serious Catholic novels and thrillers.
        
        Brian O'Nolan = Irish comic writers who produced some of the funniest and most radical writing in modern Irish literature.

        John Osborne and Arnold Weskers = relevant English playwrights.

        In the 1950s the Movement emerged formed by a group of poets who rejected new romanticism and the modernist poetry of 1920s and 1930s. They sought to place English poetry back into an accessible meaning, covering everyday experience.
        Apart from the Movement, there were other movement such as The Group.
