Banquo + Macbeth
Morality
Macbeth trusts the Witches prophesies and that drives his "vaulting ambition" - "All Hail Macbeth/... Shalt be Thane of Glamis.../Thane of Cawdor.../and King herafter"
"It shall make honour for you" - it Banquo helps Macbeth, he will be benefitted
Banquo does not trust the Witches as he believes that they are "instruments of darkness" trying to "win us harm" by saying that Banquo will be "lesser than Macbeth and greater" as he will be a father to a line of Kings, but not one himself
He also will only work with Macbeth if he will "lose none" and keep his "allegiance clear" with the King

Banquo, Duncan and Macduff act as character foils for Macbeth as their morals, kingship and bravery contrast with Macbeth's bloodthirsty actions and disloyalty to king and country.
