- - - - Once the antigen is detected and bound with the helper T-cell, the B-cell will enlarge and begin to divide and produce plasma and memory B-cells.
        
        Plasma cells secrete immunoglobulins into the blood, antibodies are spread throughout tissues and into body fluids.
        
        Memory B-cells remain in the body longer than plasma cells and respond to stimulating the production of antibody secreting plasma cells
- - - - They are produced in bone marrow and lymphatic tissue but T-cells mature in thymus.
        
        T and B cells have antigen recognition molecule which makes them respond to one specific antigen
        
        T-cellsThe hormone thymosin produces by thymus gland promotes T-cell maturation and T-cell will only recognise one type of antigen and react to it**
        
        e.g.T-cell manufactured to chicken pox will only recognise chicken pox and not measles.
        
        B-cells are produced and matured in bone marrow.They produce antibodies(immunoglobulins)proteins designed to destroy an antigen and it reacts to one type of antigen.*
