Capital/Investment is important to both globalization and urbanization, because for example, you can take investment loans out of businesses in other countries because of the global connections and also it supports urbanization because it allows new companies and ideas to form, building the economy and structure of cities.

Global Supply Chain-Definition: The steps involved in producing, manufacturing, and delivering a product or service where those processes and materials come from different nations.

The global supply chain is the new age of trade throughout the world, which means that the people who control the global supply chain are responsible for the wellbeing of humans across the world who need certain products to get to them. Therefore, the global supply chain is the primary way for trade to happen over a large area of land and therefore for globalization to happen.
Winners from Globalization-Definition:-Those who win from increasing interaction and integration between countries, like the big corporations and consumers.
Belt and Road Initiative-Definition: A global infrastructure development plan created by the Chinese government in 2013 to invest in nearly 150 countries and international organizations by loaning money to build a belt trade route over land and a road over sea for increased trade.
This initiative from China has shown the world the powers that a winner of globalization has. It has shown the world that having trade power and access to global routes across the world can lead to great accomplishments.
These winners of globalization determine who has power throughout the world, and it's all determined by countries with advanced globalization. The winners from globalization take their power and often use it to affect other countries across the world.
Losers from Globalization-Definition: Those who lose from increasing interaction and integration between countries, like the environment, manual laborers, and citizens.
Fair Trade-Definition: Trade between wealthier companies and producers in developing countries in which fair prices are paid to the producers for sustainable trade and equitable trade customs.
Ivory Coast and Chocolate-Definition: A country thats main export is cocoa with its economy heavily dependent on the good.
The Ivory Coast is in losers from globalization because it relies heavily on chocolate for its economy and helps manufacture 38% of the chocolate in the world, and yet the farmers make minimal. They are taken advantage of by the larger manufacturers and powers in other countries and they themselves are very poor.
Fair trade comes from globalization, specifically losers from globalization, because it was created to support those farmers and producers who are receiving below what is necessary to support themselves. For example, the Ivory Coast cocoa can support this, with farmers receiving only 5% of the profits of a chocolate bar. Fair trade adds a little money to the price of the chocolate bar that goes to the farmers.
These losers of globalization are controlled by those who have power throughout the world, and it's all determined by countries with advanced globalization. The losers from globalization are heavily reliant or affected by these powerful nations and struggle because of it.
Globalization is an enormous factor in the development and trade throughout the world, which is why all of the other vocab words involving trade or transport all connect back to this one.
