Factors influencing product design - Coggle Diagram

        Purpose: Which of the 5 purposes is the product?
        
        Audience: Age, gender, interests, location product is aimed at.
        
        Client (ethos): Ethos/belief of client, what they stand for.
        
        Content: What to include; images, video, sound
        
        Genre: Genre of the product
        
        Style/theme: This is linked to genre
        
        Timescales: A timescale has to be given to a project for completion of elements and final product completion.
- - - - written Codes, (cover use of language, how it is written, printed or spoken) Text based: included in a graphic. Storytelling: in a comic or graphic novel. Narrative/dialogue: in a video, film, video, play. Communication: to the audience/viewer.
- - - - Qualitative information: about thoughts, ideas and feelings, e.g. comments from a focus group about a film.
        
        Quantitative information: based on numbers and statistics, e.g. survey about playing games on a smartphone.
