A Journal entry and a diary entry are very different . A diary entry is more a personal record written. But journal is written in a more serious and formal tone. Maybe a journal entry from a sea captain, making sure that everything is recorded into the journal.
Magazine Article
Used mainly for advertisement and news in colorful and eye-catching way and is more interesting than newspaper for some people. It has all the latest topics going around in the magazine as well as the hottest fashion trends
Blog Post
Use informal letters and is kinda like a journal but instead, you are announcing it online and almost everyone about your day, some news or any fun things or places

Tell some backstories before getting straight to the point while making it interesting enough for the TV audiences by creating words right at the moment to describe news
Formal letter
Formal letters are written in more of a polite and respectful manner. Formal letters are structured with an introduction, 2 bodies consisting details of the situation and further development/explanation and lastly, a conclusion.
Starting off a salutations e.g " Dear Mr./Mrs." and ending off with signatures, e.g "Sincerely", etc.
Informal letter
The opposite of formal letters are informal letters. They can be written in a causal and simple way as if you're talking to a friend/family.

Develop a writing habit, read daily, always think of your audiences and use less buzz phrases along with much more better grammar and decent enough descriptions

Emotive language often captures the audience or reader's emotions. It is a form of persuasion to get a hold of the reader's emotions to get them to feel e.g sad or happy.

Statistics are also a great way to capture the attention of readers.
Often when we see numbers, It had a way of making us believe in it. For example, If an advertisement says " Buy these supplements with 50% Vitamin B1 and B2. These vitamins are known to prevent us fro diseases such as blah blah blah".

The rule of three is a writing principle that suggests that a trio of events or characters is more humorous, satisfying, or effective than other numbers.

Reread the whole text carefully after studying the unknown words you found unfamiliar before and see if the method works
Scan the text for unfamiliar words
The reading technique helps people who is used to skimming through text and reading it multiple times. It is a method that is more efficient when you are under timed conditions like a test and you don't have that much time.
This method is more effective, easier and quicker for us to understand the reading text.
Writing down and studying the unfamiliar words before actually reading can save time and effort instead of re-reading it.
The words you write down also improves your vocabulary.
