Multivariate Data
Multivariate Data is a concept in statistical analysis that involves variables leading to one outcome. For example, exploring how the variable "fertiliser" affects the variable "plant growth.
Variables
Categorical Variables
Types of data that can be categorised into groups. For example, age, race, and gender.
Discrete Variables
Countable values that are whole numbers. For example, the amount of students in a class.
Continuous Variables
A countable variable that can take on any value (including decimals). For example, weight and height.

Bivariate Data
Bivariate data is data that has two variables (an independent variable and a dependent variable). Often used to investigate the correlation between the two variables and its outcome. For example, the weather outside and how it affects ice cream sales

Correlation/Causation
Correlation is a mutual link or relationship between variables and causation is the capacity of one variable to influence another variable.
