- - - - It is important to understand that thinking is not the same as reasoning. Reasoning happens when the mijnd draws conclusions on the basis of reasons. It implies the ability to engage in a set of interrelated intellectual processes.
        
        If we understand the intellectual processes that underlie (to be at the basis / support) reasonng, the quality of our reasoning will get upgraded.
