Neglect
Description
This form of abuse is where child basic needs is not looked after repeatedly or for a prolonged period. It is the people that have the main responsibility for caring for the child that are don't meet the child's needs such as parents, guardians, or carers. There are 4 different subcategories for this form of abuse. They include physical, emotional, educational and medical.

Frequently keeping a child from an educational setting without reason
A child not having regular baths / showers
Not praising being a role model or loving a child
A child not having clothes that fit
Leaving a child alone to care for itself or other siblings
