What materials did they use to build their shelters?
The Ojibwa bent peeled green ironwood saplings into arches, used basswood fiber to form the saplings into a circular or oval shape and threaded birch bark strips, cedar bark or cattail mat around the saplings. Wigwams had a door and a hole on top
What tools and weapons did they use in their daily life?
Ojibwa warriors used bows and arrows, clubs, flails, and hide shields. Hunters also used snares to catch birds, and when Plains Ojibwa men hunted buffalo, they often set controlled fires to herd the animals into traps or over falls.
How did their shelter protect them from the environment?
The wind is probably really strong , there are no real trees for protection
Since the shape is a dome, if it rains or snows, the ice/snow can slide off
Igloo is thick so you can have a fire inside. You can stay warm and protected
