They shredded to flexible parts of the cedar bark to make it more wearable
They used the bark for culteral masks and capes

Women wore skirts and capes made of cedar bark
Men also wore long capes made of cedar bark
Some people added mountain got fur as decoration

They made their own clothes for ceremonies

It wasn't to hard for them to get their food because they had so many people in their tribe
Also their veggies and fruits grew near them so it was easier to harvest
And they lived near the coast so they had a lot of sea animals in their area

Those were their main foods but they had a lot of other food that was more naturally grown

The tools they used were very sturdy so they were durable for their intense gale storms
They had houses that they made with cedar fences so it would help them from animals.
Their shelters were decently simple so they wouldn't have to be outside in the wind for too long

Houses built with red Cedar wood

What ceremonies did the Haida Tribe have?
Potlatches are ceremonies where Indian peoples give away possesions, and wreck possetions to show wealth.
They had feasts, dances and potlatches.

These leaders are all men (which makes me mad!!)
What are the roles that People have in this Community?
Also men did the building of the houses.
Women were reponsible for stuff mainly on land and aroung the house.
