Proptinal numbers
X and Y axis
When you are determining the X and y axis you always start horizontally (X) and then you do it vertically (Y) and then you will end up like this (12x,-99y)
Quadrant plane
When you do a quadrant plane you will have four quadrants, quadrant 1 is the positive x and y axis, Quadrant two is the negative x axis and positive y axis, quadrant 3 is the negative x and y axis, and then quadrant 4 is the positive x and negative y axis

Origin point
(0,0) is the origin meaning it is the starting point

slope
The slope of a line is a measure of its steepness. Mathematically, slope is calculated as "rise over run" (change in y divided by change in x).

slope
how to find the slope: you can find the slope on the graph by finding the the pattern with y and x axis.
How to find the slope in an equation: You will find the slope by writing the equation y(Y axis variable)=m(slope)x(x axis varible) + b(y intercept). y = 12x + b. You would find this is now that we know that the x axis and y intercept are both 0, that means the slope (the rate of descent and rate of ascend) is 12.

when solving for unknown with pemdas you go backwards whilst with an equation with all known numbers you go forward.
