The Five Teaching Styles and How I Can Make Them Fit My Visual/ Kinesthetic Learning Styles
Authority
Teacher tends to lecture while using chalkboard
Students are expected to take notes
As a Kinesthetic Learner, I believe that this learning style would not work for me simply because, I can write down what's on the board without paying any actual attention
Demonstrator
Prefers to lecture but also prefers to show students what they're learning
Uses visual aids, power point presentations, and handouts
As a Kinesthetic Learner, this leaning style might work, as it has something to grab my attenetion
Facilitator
Teacher relies heavily on class discussion
Also relies on student participation
Instructor provides prompts and guiding questions
Delegator
Structures class around student run projects
Their own teaching takes a back seat to student teaching
May be more beneficial for Auditory and Kinesthetic learners
This style might work best for me because with talking to other students and exciting project is an excellent way to grab my fully undivided attention
Hybrid
Uses multiple techniques
Provides opportunities for different learning styles
