The Five Teaching Styles and How I Can Make Them Fit In My Kinesthetic Learning Style : Noe Esparza
Authority Style
Teacher tend to lecture while using
Students are expected to take notes
as a kinesthetic learner I would take notes but I would much rather listen and see PowerPoints and demonstrations to the subject. I would be fine with the teaching style over all
Facilitator Style
Teacher relies heavily on class discussion
also relies on student participation
provides prompts and guiding questions
I would be fine with this teaching style, all the classes would help me further understand what I'm learning while also having to ask questions and interacting with classmates
Hybrid style
provide opportunities for different learning styles
uses a combo of all teaching styles
this teaching style is great over all for any and every student, i would be fine with this
delegator style
their own teaching takes a backseat to students teaching one another
prefer to structure their classes around student-run projects and presentation
This teaching style would be a help with my career in teaching while also learning from the class and the professor
Demonstrator Style
prefer to lecture, but also prefers to show students what they are learning
Uses visual aid, power points presentation, and handouts.
This is a teaching style that I wouldn't prefer, giving hand outs and presentations is fine but there wouldn't be much of an interaction with the class
