Water Systems
Humans are directly changing the dynamics of the water cycles through dams constructed for water storage, and through water withdrawals for industrial, agricultural, or domestic purposes.
This impacts climate change which then also causes water supply and basic water demand to significantly increase.
Why should she conserve water (Diagram on top for answer)
All animals and plants need water to survive, and the human body needs more than 3/4 water. Living things use water to carry nutrients around the body and to take away waste. Water also helps to break down food and keep organisms cool, among with many other important jobs.
How to plants and animals on land get water and oxygen
The pulp and paper industry uses millions of gallons of water during there manufacturing processes. To keep paper cleans and smooth, water is a necessity. It also helps to prevent the machinery from getting damaged.
Water is also used a lot in the smelting and furnacing industries/facilities and in the production of food and chemical products.
People and residential areas in general use a ton of water for there daily needs like drinking, showering, bathing, etc
Water pollution can occur hen harmful substances like chemicals and microorganisms contaminate a stream, river, lake, ocean, or other bodies of water.
This is degrading water quality and rendering it toxic to humans or the environment
The water cycle shows the
continuous movement
within the Earth and atmosphere
There are many stages in the water cycle, it never tops and never ends. There's
Precipitation, condensation, evaporation, run-off, groundwater, transpiration, and sublimation
. (Diagram showing all stages below)
Water can take form in the three states of matter. Solid, liquid and gas. Solid water is
ice
, liquid is just normal
water
, and water as a gas is called
water vapor
In nature, water is filtured through many layer of soil, sand, rock, and other natural materials like leaves. Surfaces where water can penetrate are called
permeable
surfaces.
Every living and oxygen-dependent living things need water because t helps to aid then in the respiration process. This means that water helps break down food quickly and helps to generate energy during the process of respiration
Water covers nearly 3 quarters of the Earth. It is continuously moving above, on, and below the earth's surface, cycling among ice, liquid water, and vapor. This cycling of water shapes the climate by delivering rain and snow, it also supports all living beings on Earths
