Parents and families members can both guide and force their children's choice and directions, they can also help their children with other things.

The children mostly behave like what their parent/family does, study from their influences .
Physical
Involvement of family members in children's activity was associated with leisure-time sedentary behaviours. It has been suggested that strong family support increases children's efficacy to overcome things to being physically active.
Friends
Cognitive
With friends accompany you/ walk along with you, you can ansure that at least you have someone on same side with you and you will be able to work peacefuly.
Socioemotional
Good friendships have a myriad of benefits, such as increased feelings of belonging, purpose, increased levels of happiness, reduced levels of stress, improved self-worth and confidence.

Understand others intention easily If somebody want to talk to you but don't want to talking that topic straight away but if you are in community with variety kinds of people you can understand what your friend intention and what their wajnt to talk about.

Summary : Each teenager's past is not the same and the effect of their past and their habit won't be same either. Their past, emotion, habit, etc. is factor of what your social influence will be and will your future will look like. How your family take care of you, How is your society at school, how is your rank in each community or how you place yourself in social media all of these effect how each teenager grow and what their future will look like.
