Through the tableaux activities we were encouraged to embody characters (Gods activity) and gain contextual understanding. Required collaborative learning, building relationships with group members.

Embodied pedagogies is a way to explore multiple perspectives, interpret texts and generate ideas. In my experience embodied learning appears to just be used in Drama and PE classes so it does make me think that this way of learning is 'feared' by teachers in the sense that they don't understand its value and impact on student learning.

The problem space is the world you are playing in. Set it up and then students play and explore within it... Duffy talks about searching for a path out.
