I believe that children in NZ should all have an equal share of learning and teaching ability. Schools across the country struggle with affording the right equipment required to ensure their students get the right learning they need. As a collective team, we can ensure all schools get equal rights to what they need.
I believe kids across the country should be taught about the dangers of depression and anxiety. this is a serious problem affecting many kiwi whanau across NZ. With new Zealand having the highest suicide rates across the globe I believe it's important to teach kids this to spread awareness. however, this topic can be quite sensitive to kids but for there safety, I believe this should become a curriculum for schools in NZ. incorporating this into schools curriculum can teach children the dangers and struggles of this illness.
Many kiwi kids today never got the chance to learn the importance around taxes, mortgages and jobs. I believe this should become something colleges should teach as a part of there life learnt skills. encouraging kids this at young ages engage there ability, teaches them important life skills and prepares them for adulthood.
Some teachers in schools across NZ are earning a little more than 80,000 yearly.
