Once age out the are at higher risk of not complete school, homelessness, unemployment, and going to prison
Foster children at this age feel they have no one to ask for help or rely on

Issue/Concern Foster placements
Group Homes (Issue)
Can be challenging for foster children to get along with each other and group homes are known to have potentially "dangerous" kids
Issues with a foster home(s) can lead to a child constantly getting moved around
When there is a lack stability for a child, it can lead to behavior issues or other issues that may impact the child's future.

Can be challenging for students because switching schools means adapting to different environments and having to handle new school work quickly
