        Each Indian received $3 (later $5) a year, some goods and a fixed amount of ammunition.
    - - Most of the stores still sell the original pelts and handicraft items
      - Most of the pelts and furs still comes from the trappers and Eskimos in the north
        
        However, the price price per pelt paid by the company is still low
        
        The yearly salary of a hunter is around $500
        
        In most of the trading places, the company store is the only place where you can trade furs and buy essential items
    - - Without the company, the Indigenous People cannot survive as they live on the fur business
      - They still have control over the prices of items they sell at their trading stores to the Indigenous people
