Adverb of time (Once upun a time, one day, etc)

Action verbs. A verb that shows an action. (killed, dug, walked, etc)
Direct speech. It is to make the story lively. (Snow White said,”My name is Snow White). The direct speech uses present tense.

Definition
narratve text is a piece of text which tells a story and entertains the reader or listener; it is a story with complications or problematic events and tries to dind resolutions to solve the problems
Social Function
Gerot and Wignell 1994: 204 said that the social function of narrative text is to entertain readers with the fiction story like: fable, legend, myth, and folktale.
