TIME
TENSE SEQUENCE
- To talk about past or present=> use the same tense
Ex: When she heard the result, she was overjoyed.
- To talk about future => use present
Ex: Wait here until you are ready to go
- To talk about an action completed before another described in the Independent clause =>use simple or perfect verb forms.
Ex: As soon as you see/ have seen her, come and tell me.

- As: as-clause at the beginning of the sentence, use comma after as-clause.( subordinator)
- Since: since-clause at the beginning of the sentence, use comma after since-clause ( subordinator)
- Because: because-clause at the beginning or in the middle of a sentence
- For: after the main clause, use comma before " for" ( coordiantor)
