Proviso + Statement of object & reasons
Any opposition to the bill is put to vote after seeking the reason for opposition
2nd stage
Bill taken in to consideration
Clause by clause debate & discussion. Amendments can be moved
Bill referred to select committee or joint committee
Usual practice: mover of the bill will propose the names of members in the committee, it includes opposition as well and the house approves
3rd stage
Committee tabes the report
Unanimous report
Majority report
Members in minority have the right to give MINUTES OF DISSENT
Members can send in amendments to the provisions of the bill
4th stage
Clause by clause consideration & debate
Clauses are put in to vote
5th stage
Moves the "Bill be passed motion"
6th Stage
Bill is sent to the other house
Pass the bill
Amend the bill
Send to the originating house
