Since the environment is polluted, it creates health issues for citizens which might lead them in decline in productivity which will also affect their income.

  • Owners prized production and profit over all else. Throughout the Industrial Revolution, the companies intended to fulfil the needs and demand of the society which led to a phenomenon in which workers' safety and wages were less important, creating a society with child labour and sabotaged of workers.

  • Men’s wages were often more than twice those of women, the wages earned by children who worked to supplement family income were even lower which is a sign of gender inequality as well as child labour. Women and children were not appreciated which led to a saddening situation.

  • As more cheap labor-saving devices become available, people perform less strenuous physical activity. The change in lifestyle trends have led to increases in lifestyle-related diseases associated with obesity, such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain forms of cancer as they have the luxury to enjoy any forms of entertainment with minimal effort.
