Various Histories were made in Persian called Tarikh and Tawarikh(Plural).
The authors of the Tawarikh lived in cities and rarely in villages.
They often wrote histories about sultans hoping to get a reward in return.
They advised rulers on the need of preserving an ideal social order based on
birthright
and
gender distinctions
these ideas were not shared with everybody. :european_castle:
Qutbuddin Aybak was the first slave king
Qutbuddin Aybak and Iltutmish built the Qutb minar
In 1236 Sultan Iltutmish's daughter Raziyya became the sultan of Delhi. The chronicler that time --> Minhaj-i-Siraj recognised that Raziyya was more than capable to rule than her brothers. But he was not comfortable to have a queen as a ruler, so Raziyya was removed from the throne in 1240.
