The Locations

Indus's first of its sites to be excavated were located in what was then the Punjab province of British India

People lived scattered throughout Greece in small farming villages. As they grew larger, these villages began to evolve forming Athens and Sparta

Literacy called cuneiform from Mesopotamia was adapted to over a dozen languages!!

Harappans are believed to have used Indus Script, a language consisting of symbols.

Social Structure!

The Greece society was ultimately divided into four main social classes- the upper class; the metics ; freedmen; and the slave class

The Chinese government divided Chinese people into four classes: landlord, peasant, craftsmen, and merchant.

Architecture

The Greeks built most of their architecture in three types of styles :Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian.

Harappans demonstrated advanced architecture with dockyards, warehouses, brick platforms, and protective walls.

Relgions

The religion of Ancient Greece was classified as polytheistic, which means that they believed in multiple gods or deities.

The Mesopotamian too were polytheistic! Each Mesopotamian city had its own patron god or goddess.

Innovations and Contributions

Mesopotamia helped the us by developing maths like inventing the 60 second minute, 60 minute hour and even a 360 degrees circle along with astronomy and named the constellations !

Ancient China's greatest inventions were Paper-making, printing, gunpowder and the compass.

Kings and Important personalities

The first emperor of China was Qin Shi Huang who took the title in 221BC after he united all of China under one rule.

Sargon, by name Sargon Of Akkad, (flourished 23rd century bc) was the ancient Mesopotamian ruler!

Interesting Facts!!

China was the first country to invent paper!! They have used chopsticks to eat with for over 40,00 years. It is also the oldest civilization in the world.

The Indus civilization were way ahead of their time they were known for their urban planning and new techniques....They even developed precise measurement techniques.The first dentist was born in the Indus valley civilization!! :)
