, the staff working with the child must try strategies to remediate the concern. These strategies need to be implemented over time and results documented.

)
Concerns that may warrant a referral include the following:

:green_cross: Academically, the student is not working to their potential over time
:green_cross: Social/Emotional, behavioral concerns
:green_cross: Receptive/Expressive language delay
Fill out OLC Referral Form
OLC Team reviews the referral and makes class observations
:checkered_flag: MDT (Multidisciplinary Team Meeting)
:checkered_flag: May or may not result in OLC Services
:checkered_flag: Next steps will be discussed during this meeting
:star: The referral is completed with the support strategies attached, along with work samples, and other documentation such as grades, test scores, etc. The
OLC
specialist will survey all teachers concerning the student's progress. A meeting will be held as appropriate.
