Proteins
Location
Found in structures common to all cell types such as the cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and mitochondria.
They are molecules composed of long chains of smaller molecules joined end to end. These small molecules are called Amino acids.
There are 20 kind of amino acids. Any of these 20 kinds can be joined together in order to make a protein molecule.
