Exothermic and Endothermic reactions
Exothermic
It´s a reaction in which heat
is given out .
The temperature of substance rises.
More energy is released than absorbed.
Examples:
Combustion of fuels
Burning natural gas
Fire
Endothermic
A reaction in which heat is taken in is endothremic
More energy is absorbed than is released.
The temperature of substance drops.
Examples:
Boiling water
Melting ice cream
Photosynthesis
