PROMOTIONS
It is extremely important that promotions are fair; that are based on merit and are not
stained by favoritism
TRANSFER
They have various purposes. It is used so that people
gain more work experiences, as part of their development, and to
fill vacant positions when they arise. Also, transfers
are used to keep grades of ascents open and to keep
people interested in your work
DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
Disciplinary measures apply when an employee violates
company policy or does not meet job expectations, and
managers must take steps to remedy the situation
DESCENT OR TRANSFER
They are not viable, dismissal is preferable to allowing a person who does not obtain good results
continue at work
Layoffs
No matter how painful the decision to fire a person is logic
of human resource planning often requires that it be taken
