Fourth Act: Juliet drinks a potion given by Friar Laurence, which makes her appear dead, in order to avoid her wedding with Count Paris, planned by her father. After faking her death, Juliet lies in a tomb, waiting for Romeo to come, so they can run away together and live happily ever after. The friar sends a messanger to Mantua, to inform Romeo about the fake death, but before he arrives, Romeo hears that Juliet is passed away and returns to Verona.
