Societal viewpoint of women changed massively due to their major role in replacing many men in factories and offices. Many countries gave women more rights after the war had ended including the right to vote in several countries.

Large sections of land, especially in France and Belgium suffered great damage; bridges were destroyed and railroad lines were left in ruins.
Higher classes lost their leading role in society as many middle and lower class young men demanded a say in the reformation of their country after the war
Economic
Chemical weapons and gun shells made farmland unusable for several years in some cases, affecting agriculture based income massively.
Both Germany and Great Britain spent about 60% of the money that their economies produced during the war.
Many countries had to majorly increase taxes and henceforth borrow more money from their citizens because of their massive hits that the nation's economy might have taken
Several nations had to print more money to deal with the war's repercussions, this led to inflation
America remained substantially economically strong after the war because of their late entry to the war; it did not suffer economically as much as European countries did.

Germany was forced to pay millions in reparations because of the treaty, this left the economy in complete ruins and henceforth came a great depression

The harshness of the treaty and the state it left Germany in eventually became a large reason for the rise of the Nazi party in the coming years. In short, the German people wanted a quick solution and the Nazi party offered that.

The Ottoman Empire collapsed after World War 1, the countries once ruled by the Ottoman Empire were put under control of Great Britain and France.
