MEDICAL INTERVENTIONS
Limit medical decisions by the patient
Medications should be giving on a routine basis, and as recommended
Concurrent use of CNS drugs

PATIENT EDUCATION
Educate caregiver if dementia is advanced
Discarding those medications that are expired or patient don't take anymore
Driving is not safe for dementia patients
Eliminate factors that cause falls at home
Put away factors that can accidentally injure the patient
