Advantage:
- Easy to implement
- Company wants to show that we trust employee (100%)
Disadvantage:
- Increase the workload for HR to follow case by case (harder)
- HR have more action to do
Advantage:
- HR still have to keep track but reduce the workload
- Limit the make us situation to take unpaid leave

- Employee might have uncomfortable feeling
Solution 1: We use the Unpaid number when the employee submits an Insurance Leave Request. Then based on employee documents. We can return the Unpaid number before, and count for Insurance Leave number, in case they have any documents. Otherwise, the employee can choose to use the Remaining Day number instead, or still keep using the Unpaid number.
Solution 2: We trust our employees so we don't count anything. Then based on the employee documents. In case they have any documents, we do nothing on the system. Otherwise, the employee can choose to use the Remaining Day number or Unpaid number (HR help to cancel this LR and create new one)
Solution 3: We use the Remaining Day number when the employee submit an Insurance Leave Request. Then based on the employee documents. We can return the Remaining Day number before, and count for Insurance Leave number, in case they have any documents. Otherwise, we still using the Remaining Day to counting. (But for this solution, we must to face the problem employee haven't enough Remaining Day number.
Solution 1 / Disadvantage / Can make use of unpaid leave easily
-> For this point, system will record that Request Type is 1 in 4 Insurance Leave Request, and just count for Unpaid Number. But for your cheating concern, I think it's a human problem.
The different thing is the solution 1 and 3 is, solution 1 can help you avoid the case employee have enough remaining days. With the solution 3, for this problem, we still need to think about it and support later or keep using paper instead.
