The goal of using Itonics, according to Kyle, is to provide JnJ users a platform to store information about what kinds of trends, technologies, and opportunities are emerging within and outside of JnJ.
Josh: So fitting that in with our purposes, Itonics would primarily be used to capture user-submitted ideas from their creation to eventual adoption. It will also be used to capture user-submitted business issues/pain-points. This would allow us to get a bird's eye view on what new technologies and ideas are out there, and link them to the business pain points out there.
me: two major use cases would be:
"Mary has a great idea or technology, but has no idea how to make it visible to people who could use it to meet their needs."
and
"John is trying to satisfy a business need, but has no idea about what technologies or ideas are out there, or who to contact to find out more about them."
Everyone: Yes that's about right
