difficulty interpreting tactile stimuli in a precise and efficient manner
difficulty in describing the physical characteristics or texture of an object by touch alone
difficulty knowing where you are being touched
difficulty knowing what you are holding without looking

Gustatory Discrimination Disorder
unable to tell the difference between textures or tastes while eating
unable to tell what you are eating or drinking by taste and texture alone
difficulty in knowing when something is too hot or too cold for consumption
difficulty in extinguishing between flavours
Olfactory Discrimination Disorder
unable to identify the source or cause of odours
may not be able to distinguish important smells (eg: burning)
difficulty in telling the differences between 2 smells
Auditory Discrimination Disorder
difficulty determining the source of noise or who is speaking with them
have a hard time determining which sound to pay attention to
difficulty following multi-step instructions
Proprioception Discrimination Disorder
appear clumsy, distracted & awkward - unable to receive reliable information on body position
using too much or too little force in activities
difficulty determining head or body position
may play too harsh during ball games
difficulty in determining your own posture without looking
frequently fall out of chairs
Visual Perception Problems
difficulties in figure ground perception
difficulties in spatial orientation
difficulties in depth orientation

Interoceptive Discrimination Disorder
refers to our internal senses or any sensations that originate from within the body (eg: hunger and thirst, sickness, heart rate etc.)
hardly talk about their body feeling
difficulty determining whether hungry and full, thirsty and not thirsty
