rich costumers at the restaurant try to buy as much stuff to impress their rich friends

People focus more on what they want and have rather than what they need
Madam is freaking out because she thinks someone urinated in one of her perfume bottles and she is crying and bleeding but she is too focused on her objects
People judge others on what they have and don't have
People become protective over their objects
similar to things like old comic books, they aren't even read so they can stay in good condition
they become slaves to their objects in a way
Project Mayhem is braking free from this social custom and attempting to take civilization with them
They only own necessities like clothing
